Protonated Small Water Clusters (PSWCs) Drinking Water is a functional drinking water with water as its sole ingredient. Cellular and animal studies have observed relevant effects on mitochondria, lipid metabolism, liver protection and soothing properties. Adopting the innovation philosophy of “Adding Value With Zero Additives”, the product achieves distinctive physicochemical properties by regulating the intrinsic charge state of water molecules, rather than functional modification through exogenous ingredients.
The product applies a modified high-pressure electrospray ionization (ESI) process. Under a strong electric field, heterolytic cleavage of water molecules occurs to form stable positively charged Protonated Small Water Clusters 〔(H₂O)ₙ·H〕⁺ (n=2–5), each wrapped by 2 to 5 water molecules. No acids, sugars, flavours, preservatives or other exogenous substances are added in the whole production process. The hydration number of the clusters is controlled at n=2–5 to balance bioactivity and storage stability, bringing unique physicochemical characteristics: pH test strips show readings of 6–7, and the taste matches premium purified water with no sour or astringent sensation. Instrumental measurement of hydrogen ions falls within the range of 2.39–4.67, indicating abundant proton particles in the water matrix. The activity of protonated clusters remains stable after boiling and long-term ambient storage. Since organic substances deplete proton activity, a zero-additive formulation is strictly maintained.
Third-party test reports are issued by authoritative institutions including the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, with quantitative data covering charge capacity, Zeta potential, electrical conductivity and DPPH free radical scavenging capacity. The product has passed a full set of 29 food safety tests and obtained safety certification from the Anti-Doping Agency of the General Administration of Sport of China.
