Launched in 2021, BlueSky Institute is a partnership between BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) and East Tennessee State University (ETSU). While maintaining BCBST branding, the BlueSky logo was designed to bring together technology, healthcare, and community.
BlueSky Institute students take classes at the BCBST headquarters in Chattanooga, where they work on real-world projects and are mentored by BlueCross technology team members. Qualified graduates can earn a job offer from BlueCross upon successful completion of the program.
