MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) device product design goes far beyond mechanical and functional considerations. It encompasses patient experience, psychological comfort, workflow efficiency for medical staff, and the integration of advanced technology.



Because MRI operates in a strong magnetic and RF environment, both internal components and external casings must use non-magnetic, non-metallic materials. This is essential for safety and optimal performance.



Reducing Patient Anxiety: Patients often feel anxious due to the confined space and loud noises during MRI scans. Recent studies show that the shape and visual perception of the head RF coil significantly affect patient anxiety. As a result, designs are being developed to make coils look less intimidating or to use visual patterns that reduce psychological stress.



MRI design must also consider accessibility, ease of use, and maintenance for medical personnel, directly impacting examination efficiency and patient safety.
