What is the Window of Tolerance? How does it help our mental health? In this video, you learn about how the mind and nervous system respond to being overwhelmed, understand how our nervous system responds to stress, and how to stay within your emotional Window of Tolerance. This video uncovers some of the factors affecting our emotional tolerance levels and explores how to widen the personal Window of Tolerance to foster emotional regulation to live more in the space where creativity, learning, and relaxation thrive.

OMBI uses the video to teach preventive mental health strategies and mindfulness exercises to educators to teach self-regulation in their classrooms. We also use our video series to support people in finding individualized ways to self-regulate when stressed and to feel more balanced, joy, and meaning each day. This is a key concept in the full lesson, Mental Health & Mindfulness, in the Attune•ED workbook (available for purchase).
