This animation was one half of a 20x30-foot conference booth display. The circular video portal was 9'-6" and displayed on 1.63 mm LED tiles. The portal itself was set upon a raised 3-tier platform to a full elevation of 12'-6".
DED & TL-925 MOA story flow:
The Awakening: A healthy eye blinks normally with proper tear production.
The Invasion: Mast cells migrate to the lacrimal gland, degranulating and causing inflammation.
The Assault: Degranulating mast cells invade lacrimal acinar cells, damaging them and reducing tear production.
The Escalation: B cells activate, releasing IL-17. T cells activate, releasing cytokines and escalating inflammation.
The Aftermath: Ongoing mast cell, B cell, and T cell activity severely impair tear production, causing dry eye disease with erratic blinking.
The Remedy: TL-925 droplets restore moisture, reducing inflammation and returning the eye to normal blinking/movement.
The Fine Print: The screen dims, and the eye goes out of focus. The FDA disclaimer text animates in, and the animation ends.
