During the tenure at one of the largest children’s hospital in USA, Rajeev Kumar Arora was tasked with leading an ERP implementation project aimed at streamlining our business processes and improving overall efficiency and employing advanced Cloud Computing, AI algorithms and fuzzy logic data mapping techniques. The hospital had been experiencing inefficiencies due to legacy systems, multiple applications and manual processes, leading to delays and errors in critical operations of HR, Finance and Supply Chain department.
His primary responsibility was to oversee the entire ERP implementation process, from initial planning to post-implementation support by using advance cloud technologies of ERP, Cloud computing and AI and best practices. This included defining project scope, selecting the appropriate business processes, best practices, upgrade workflow system, coordinating with stakeholders, managing the project timeline and budget, and ensuring successful user adoption.
Rajeev began by conducting a comprehensive analysis of the company’s existing systems and processes to identify pain points and areas for improvement and gaps in current system. Based on this analysis, he led a cross-functional team in prepared design document and conducted conference room pilot sessions with business users to propose solution that aligned with business needs and objectives. And prepared Fit/gap analysis and functional specification documentations which further handover to technical team to work on development part and in parallel worked with business users to prepare test case scenario and test cases and test script to be ready for testing phase after development work is complete.
At a prominent children's hospital in the USA, Rajeev led the implementation of an ERP system, revolutionizing operations spanning HR, Finance, and Supply Chain. Our endeavors yielded significant efficiency enhancements and cost reductions. For instance, automating manual processes slashed payroll processing time from 2 days to 6-7 hours, saving roughly 1000 man-hours annually. Centralizing data storage cut $350k in database storage expenses, with an additional $250k saved yearly through integration of the employee health module into the ERP system.
