Together with our client MEDIAN, one of Europe's leading providers in the field of medical rehabilitation and mental health and the OnPoint Studios (powerded by inventive), DNM created a media library with more than 260 video-based therapy exercises, that can be accessed in the App MyMEDIAN@Home, which is now used in the digital pre- and aftercare services of MEDIAN clinics. These rehabilitation exercises have been officially included in the therapy catalog of the German Pension Insurance.

DNM scanned accurate three-dimensional motion data, which have been used to render the actual movies with digital avatars in virtual environments and created lifelike avatars that looked as human as possible without distracting the viewer too much from the actual exercises, using MetaHumans rolled out with Unreal Engine 5.

New avatars, changing environments, additional close-ups or tracking shots for lectures - on the basis of the three-dimensional motion data scanned once, we can now quickly and flexibly produce different versions of the exercise videos without any therapist having to step in front of the camera.
