Why should patients travel to hospital for an x-ray when it’s so much better for the x-ray to come to them?
Mobile Medical Global founder David Richards was working as a private hospital radiographer when an elderly woman who’d suffered a fall arrived by ambulance, and was stretchered downstairs in great distress. David realised how much more comfortable she’d have been if she’d been x-rayed at home.
Now Trinidad and Tobago-based Mobile Medical Global is revolutionising medical testing by offering non-invasive studies like x-rays, ultrasounds and ECGs in homes, doctors’ offices, workplaces and care settings.
Benefiting everyone from the elderly, immunosuppressed to the simply time-poor, it reduces patients’ stress. It leads to quicker diagnosis, faster treatment and ultimately better health outcomes, while reducing transport costs and easing the burden on caregivers.
We’re increasingly popular, with study numbers soaring 161% from 1583-4126 between March 2023 and March 2025.

Our experienced practitioners’ passion for providing exemplary patient care is reflected in exceptional customer feedback: in recent research,100% said our service “reduced my stress”, “has been a good investment” and “would recommend to friend/colleague.”
97.2% agreed/strongly agreed it enhanced the patient’s comfort during the process
94.4 said it eased burden on family/caregivers
91.7% said it led to quicker diagnosis and treatment
66.7% said it saved money
Patients awarded us 4.7/5 overall.
An exciting future for Mobile Medical Global
In addition to individual enquiries, we’re pivoting to partner with doctors who’ve their own clinics or do home visits. This means we can instantly provide doctors with images, speeding up diagnosis.
A recent partner survey showed:
93.5% reported increased convenience for patients
77.4% earlier patient diagnosis and treatment
64.5% reported better patient outcomes.
Trinidad and Tobago has a mixed public/private healthcare system, and people using the public system can have a long wait. On 8-10 November 2024, to mark Radiographers’ Day, we performed 170 free x-rays and ultrasounds on 130 patients, reducing the public waiting list, demonstrating how we’re driven by desire to help people rather than profits.
