Anytime Counselling is the world's first mental health service fully-manned by qualified counsellors, accessible 24/7 and without geographic restriction.

Their founder, Tina, lost her father to a stress-induced heart attack. The tragedy could have been prevented if her father had mental health support and she incepted Anytime Counselling in his honour.



Client Impact:

Rural and remote Australians experience disproportionately higher rates of mental health issues, suicide and self-harm (pg2-3). By increasing access to 100% human-driven counselling services, not AI-triaged like competitors, Anytime Counselling provides immediate and scalable support that saves lives.

The service eliminates barriers preventing rural people seeking help: unacceptably long wait times, limited local options, and privacy concerns in close-knit communities, affording people choice and control in selecting their therapist.



Since 2019, they have delivered 4,576 counselling sessions and reduced waiting times from 6-8 weeks to 24 hours. They achieve higher client return rates (traditionally 3-5 sessions; Anytime Counselling averages 3-10 sessions), and 63% of partners subsequently also attend to access support, being impressed by the results.

Last year, they saved 22 lives from active suicide consideration and more who were considering suicide.



They supported a women’s health centre from 2002-2024 with discounted counselling, supporting hundreds of women affected by rape, assault, domestic violence and teen pregnancy (pg4).



Last year, they helped seven women whose children were removed due to unsafe living conditions regain custody, supported 250 families with sick children in city hospitals, and provided 238 hours free counselling to families who couldn't afford support.



Growth:

The team has grown 750% to 17 counsellors and added couples, teens, family, disability, employee and grief counselling (pg5). They now have a panel of 180 approved counsellors, enabling 187,000 sessions/year.



Innovation:

Anytime Counselling is the first provider of industry-tailored mental health programs: Anymine Anytime is an EAP-service addressing high suicide rates in mining, achieving 3x the industry uptake of traditional EAP services (pg3).



They’re also exploring supporting rural populations worldwide, including Tanzania and ‘Heart Profit’ in the US, a global first initiative.
