As the Regional Wing Director for the Americas at Isha Foundation and the Program Research Director for Product Development at Isha Life (APAC). My nomination for this award is based on my leadership in two major global environmental initiatives, the Save Soil Movement and the Cauvery Calling Campaign.

1. Save Soil International Campaign (Category: Global Warming)
I have been instrumental in leading the Save Soil campaign, a global movement aimed at addressing the soil crisis. This campaign, reaching over 4 billion people, advocates for soil health and promotes policies to increase organic matter in agricultural soil. The campaign has garnered support from global organizations like the UN, WHO, FAO, and UNEP, alongside prominent leaders and celebrities such as Dr. Jane Goodall, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and Tony Robbins.

Key Impact:

Reached over 4 billion people globally.
81 nations are in the process of framing soil policies.
Official support from 54 Commonwealth nations and the European Union.
Highlighted by U.S. President Joe Biden in response to a young participant's letter.
Addressing critical issues such as food security, biodiversity loss, and climate change, the campaign highlights soil as a major carbon sink and a solution to global warming.
2. Cauvery Calling Initiative (Category: Global Warming)
As a core leader, I have contributed to the success of the Cauvery Calling initiative, focusing on revitalizing the Cauvery River through tree-based agriculture. The project has enabled the planting of 747 million trees, supported 218,000 farmers, and inspired a $2.5 billion allocation from the Indian government for river revitalization.

Key Achievements:

Restored tree cover in the Cauvery River basin by encouraging sustainable agricultural practices.
Significant climate adaptation and mitigation efforts, reducing flood and drought impacts.
Directly addressing nine of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
These initiatives underscore my commitment to global environmental conservation and policy change.
