The film follows SEARHC’s Chief Medical Officer as she travels by floatplane to a remote village in Southeast Alaska. Her journey underscores the importance of meeting communities where they are and shaping care around real-world conditions. By spending time in the field, she gains firsthand insight into local needs and works to develop solutions that reflect the realities of each community.

The documentary also highlights a travel coordinator who manages the complex logistics of transporting providers to patients and patients to advanced care. In a region without connecting roads, that coordination is essential.
