Advancing Healthcare Through Technology

In this project, We have solved Healthcare Integration problem by creating a seamless system that integrate State Agencies, Federal Agencies, Healthcare Carriers, and other technology vendors while serving over 2 million members at a State-Based Health Exchange, This platform is one of the most critical state-based health insurance exchanges in the U.S., providing vital healthcare access. In alignment with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), It has helped ensure healthcare affordability and accessibility for the residents, serving as a model for state-based health exchanges nationwide. I was deeply involved in design and implementation of an integrated framework that has modernize Eligibility and Enrollment through real-time data exchange. This solution has dramatically reduced errors, improved accuracy, reduced processing time and also set a new standard in Operational Excellence in State-Based Exchanges.



It facilitates essential functions, including eligibility checks, program determination, plan enrollments, renewals, life event processing, and automated notice generation. The platform integrates seamlessly with federal systems such as the CMS, MMIS, IRS, SSA, DHS, USPS, and the Federal Data Services Hub. For Plan Enrollments, it has seamless integration with Qualified Health Plan (QHP) carries such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fallon Health, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Tufts Health Plan Direct, UnitedHealthcare and WellSense Health Plan. For Dental Plans, the system is well connected with Dental Carriers such as Altus Dental and Delta Dental. The health exchange send real-time EDI transactions with Enrollment and Member Information to the carriers.



While implementing ACA policies, and also constantly updating the system with new ACA guidelines, I have helped to create one of the nation’s most integrated, efficient, and resilient healthcare exchange. This comprehensive modernization under my leadership demonstrates the transformative power of technology in making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and secure for millions of residents.
