Veyond Connect 5D XR is a real-time extended-reality platform that brings a remote expert into the operating room as if standing next to the surgeon—enabling surgical telepresence, AI-assisted proctoring, and faster, safer decision-making.

Unlike VR simulations, Veyond Connect captures the live procedure with spatial accuracy. Its 5D approach fuses 3D volumetric presence with time and interaction: remote experts see authentic perspectives, speak naturally with the team, annotate in 3D space, and interact with a digital twin of the device the surgeon is using. The result is true co-presence—not a 2D call.

In September 2023, we validated the first XR digital surgery in live clinical use. In September 2024, we achieved a world-first 5D XR surgery in which a proctor, over 10,000 km away, guided the operating surgeon through real-time communication, spatial annotations, and device-twin interaction—demonstrating reliability and clinical relevance.
